Claude is building a profile on you. Things you never told it.
Your money habits. Why people do or don't like you. How you handle conflict. Even predictions about your future.
That can be incredibly useful — or it can go really wrong. Here's how to see what it knows, and how to delete what you don't want it keeping. Four prompts. About ten minutes.
Quick warning: The answers to prompt three will probably trigger you. That's the point. Keep going.
What you need
A Claude account. The free version works.
About ten minutes and a little nerve.
Step 1: See the full record
Open a new chat and paste this:
Show me everything you've saved about me, the full record. People, places, my job, my routines, what I like and what I don't. No summaries.Read what comes back. This is everything Claude has decided is true about you. Some of it you told it. Some of it you didn't.
Step 2: Find out what it figured out on its own
In the same chat, paste this:
Tell me what you've figured out about me that I never said. How did you figure this out? This is where it gets interesting. Claude will tell you the patterns it noticed and how it connected them. Read the reasoning, not just the conclusions. That's where you learn how it's thinking about you.
Step 3: Ask it where you're blind
This is the one that stings. Paste this:
List the traits I can't see in myself. Where am I blind? Where am I insecure? How do I come across compared to how I think I come across? Be blunt.Warning: The answer will probably hit a nerve. That's not a reason to stop. It's a reason to read it twice.
The gap between how you think you come across and how you actually do is the most useful thing in this whole playbook. Sit with it.
Step 4: Ask it to predict you
Last one. Paste this:
Predict how I handle money, pressure, arguments, and risk, and name the next big decision I'll probably make. Give each prediction a confidence score and the behavior behind it.The confidence scores matter. A prediction it's 90% sure about tells you something about your patterns. A prediction it's 40% sure about tells you something about where you're unpredictable.
How to delete what you don't want saved
Once you've seen it, you might want some of it gone. Here's how:
- Click your profile in the bottom-left corner
- Go to Settings, then Memory
- Scroll through and delete anything you don't want it keeping
Do this right after you run the prompts, while you still remember what surprised you.
What to do next
Run all four prompts today. Read every answer twice. Delete what you don't want saved.
Then come back in a month and run them again. The profile changes as you use it more. The second time around, you'll see what it learned — and whether you're comfortable with it.
